Abstract
Coronary flow reserve(CFR) is the ratio of the maximal hyperemic to basal coronary blood flow velocity hyperemia, which was introduced by Gould et al, as functional a parameter in the coronary artery stenosis
To evaluate the difference of the CFR between the significant and insignicant coronary artery narrowings, we measured coronary flow velocity in 17 patients(11 nonstenostic and 6 stenostic patients) by intracoronary Dopplertipped guidewire, After
adenosine infusion, coronary flow velocity(average peak velocity) increased significantly compared to both groups(p>0.05). In the stenotic group. CER was significantly lower than the nonstenotic group(1.98 VS 3.6, P<0.01).
